I bought a June build in July. There was a one-key-fob sticker on the window that was installed at the port, before it got to the dealership.
(The port install to-do checklist was still in the car when I got it.)
I also read about it here before I even went for a first test drive.
The situation is disappointing, but it's temporary and I never felt mislead.
Much like @TarmacSL3 and @byzatic our dealership was quite upfront about the 1 key problem. Our July puchase had the sticker, the salesman even mentioned it on the initial test drives (NX and RX). And the sales manager, when he handed us the single fob and extra hard key, mentioned "you know you're only getting one key at the moment, right? Put the extra key where you can find it" What they were all wrong about was the time frame. That 30 days (and then some) has flown by, with no mention of the 2nd fob.

The salesman also told me there would only be one fob before we even sat down to talk details Having only one fob has not been a problem for me as I am the only driver and have never lost a fob before. I asked the dealer what would happen if I did and he said they would provide me with a new fob.
I have been waiting since end march for my second key for my new 2023 RX I have been transferred all around. I can order one it is available but they say I have to pay for it?? even though in my contract it says 2 keys? Now they say maybe a letter in December? Has anyone actually received a second key? I think I have been very patient waiting 7 months??

My wait was 10 months, purchased on 12/3/2022 and received my key in early September 2023.

Don't be afraid to make some waves, e.g. when the dealer asks you to schedule a service appointment (5k? 10k?) tell him you want that key first. It worked for me. I still can't believe they haven't fixed this mess. Not what we'd expect from Lexus.
My dealership told me that they have people waiting over 2 months for the second key fob. They have been getting a wave of keys now so I’m hopeful I’m might get it sooner.
I received my vehicle 2/28/23 It was built in the beginning of Jan 2023. I called Lexus last month to get a key update and was told I was in phase 3 of the 2nd key program. They said I would get a letter or email around the 2nd week of October. I had to call Lexus about another question so I asked for an update on my key and they said it was available. I have not gotten any notification but they said it might have just hit their system. Bottom line: call Lexus and have them look up your car Vin #. They will be able to give you a more accurate time of when to expect your 2nd key. I called my dealer and they have me scheduled (2 hour wait). I'll post when it's done as to the actually time it takes them to program it.
We took delivery of our RX 350h on March 10 2023. The production date was late feb. This week I noticed a message in the Android App, and yes, the dealer confirmed that a key was released for my VIN. I believe the dealer needs to request it from Lexus ( 2 business days ) after which they will call me for an appointment to have it setup. If you are waiting - keep an eye on the app !
We took delivery of our 350h in April and I just got the message in the phone app that our 2nd key is available too..
Thanks for the heads up, as I have not received any notification in the mail or from the dealer yet, I take it the notification should come via hard copy in the future. At least now I can get ahead of the game and get scheduled in
