My wife's phone is the only one that is connected to the car, and she doesn't look at the Lexus app...
So I did, as a result of this posting...and yes, our fob is available for order. THANKS!


Called the dealer to request it, and they put the request in. Said she would 'put it on the waiting list' with other owners.
I mentioned that our understanding was that once the VIN is referenced, the factory would send the key once requested.

Thanks to this Forum, I checked the App and on Friday I had received the notification that our 2nd key was available. Took delivery of our RX 350 (non-hybrid) on 3 March 2023 (February build date). I'll be calling the dealer on Monday.

My 2023RX350h, purchased on January 13, 2023, has a "2nd Key Fob Ready" notice on my Lexus iPhone App. So I called and my dealer scheduled me for the last week of October. I'll report in if it really happens, but it sounds like this actually will.

You have a notice the key is ready. And the dealer can't program it for 6 weeks? Doesn't sound like it's ready to me . It's nice you're getting it soon, tho'.

Only two weeks left in October the programming is a week or so out. You must have read November.

After seeing the message in the APP over the weekend, I called my local dealer (Ann Arbor, MI) this AM and have an appointment on Thursday to get and program the 2nd key fob. Maybe I'll have them take a shot at getting the digital key to work, although that is a lot less critical once I get the 2nd key fob.

welllll, seems my not remembering (or caring) what day of the week it is has now flowed over into what month of the year it is!!

As soon as I noticed the key being available (Friday morning) I called the dealer for an appointment. The nice service advisor said we can get you in as early as this afternoon.

Which I did and was in and out with a wash and vacuum in an hour and 15 minutes. Sewell Lexus-Dallas.

I purchased my new 2024 RX450h+ AWD on September 29 and am in the same boat as all of you, only one remote fob was supplied with the vehicle. No real time line was indicated as to when I might expect to receive the second unit but, I am assuming, based upon many of your experiences, that I may see it in April of 2024.

Once I get my second key tomorrow the digital key will just be a bad memory. With it's flaky performance, good riddance.

I called my dealer and told them that I would wait till my 10K service to get my key programmed at the same time. That is going to be a while as I have 6K now. No hurry.

Got my 2nd key today. I only waited 1 hour, originally they said 1.5 hours. So it took about 8 months from when I got my car to when I got the 2nd key. Don't forget to find the metal manual key that you got earlier as this isn't part of the 2nd key that you get from the dealer. You need that to insert into the new electronic one.

does the "Drive Connect Subscription, 3-Year Trial Included" has the feature of using phone app as key while waiting for the 2nd physical key? thanks.
