Noticed the key delivery info in Lexus app (like the screenshot someone already posted). Called the dealer and got confirmed they had the 2nd key. Took one hour to program. Bought my rx350h in March.

 

I received the notice (via Lexus phone app) of the technical service bulletin for second key fob last week. I stopped by dealership today and the second programmed key fob was delivered. Only took 9 months 😳

 

Got my second fob finally. Had the notice in my app. Scheduled with dealer who said they would order one. Said it took two days. I went in seven days later just to be sure. Wife arrived, they said "don't have it, come back in Nov". I talked to service manager who coughed up a key. Done.

 

My new fob is missing the "ring piece" on the top. Original fob has it. Before I go back to dealer, is that a detachable piece or should it be built in? Thanks.

 

The second metal key should be delivered with new car at purchase time. When you get your second key fob, the second metal key inserts into it. You end up with two complete key fobs

 

That is where the physical key goes. You will have gotten this 2nd physical key when you took delivery of the car.

Does having the second key fix the profile issues... My Android s22 has an absolute horrid time connecting to the Lexus infotainment center and also I never get recognized because we only have one key and I have done all the face stuff linking my Bluetooth phone etc etc multiple reboots multiple resets doesn't work

Got my 2023 RX 350h in May 2023. Still no 2nd key. Only just today got a letter from Lexus saying... They'll let me know when there's a key for me. isn't 6 months time enough for them to get me my key. I'm getting pissed !

 

Finally got my second key. Bought my 500H in march.

The dealer called me to let me know it was ready. I never inquired.

 

No, It took me 7 months after my car got delivered to get my key. I would recommend calling Lexus national and asking for an update. I did that after 6 months of waiting and they gave me an pretty accurate date of when I could expect my key. It's based on your vin # and the date of production.

 

Even though Ledux says my 2nd fob is available, I am going to wait a 3-4 months and do it at the 10k service.

 

I purchased my RX 450h+ on October 13 with one key FOB. I got a letter in the mail today that the second key FOB should be available in December 2023. It took 10 months to get the 350h second key. I guess the supply chain has greatly improved over the last few months. Have to wait for the Service Campaign notice on the Lexus App that will let me know when the key is available.

 

I’m lost. Do you have both a RX350h AND an RX450h+ ?

 

Traded in the 350h. Got the second key for the 350h about a month before the trade.
