That is exactly what the dealer I unfortunately bought from, did to me. I declined and 2 weeks later got the notification from Corporate in my App that the key has been allocated. Went to a different dealer for the 5 K service and got the key at exactly 6 months. I think patience given the sunk cost of having already paid for a $ 76 K car is what the dealers count on - but on the flip side, if I had 2 fobs, I would have more frequent 12 V battery deaths (before I knew that fobs were causing it, and bought then faraday boxes for them). So there you go, Lexus saved me from Lexus by giving me only 1 fob in hindsight

I bought a new RX450h+ with only one key fob (like everyone). But I see all these FOBs on Amazon and other sites. I know you'd need to take it in to the Dealer to set it up, but do they work? Passing the fob back and forth with my wife is getting old (yes, I tried the app but we park in places where there is no cell coverage so it's not an option).

Anyone tried them?

I picked up my 2024 RX 350h yesterday (8/8/24) and it came with two key fobs. My salesman told me the first RX with two key fobs (that he'd seen) came in 2 weeks ago.
