Purchased mine in April just got 2nd fob beginning of Oct.

 

RX350 purchased 7/1/24. (1) One key at delivery, (2) Spare key purchased from third-party vendor, and (3) Second OEM key promised in six months (Jan 25).

 

Purchased in April. Got an email this week stating the delay is going to be longer but should receive a letter in the future when the key is available. Was willing to pay for a key but our Lexus dealership (Huntsville, AL) would not program it in place of my upcoming key. I'm not sure I'll still have the car before getting the second key. I'm so unhappy with the RX-350 Luxury that I'm looking to trade it in.

 

Interesting to say the least. I am also in Huntsville and got the same letter. Purchased mine in June. However I got the second key in August and Lexus Huntsville programmed it.. The letter basically informed me that Lexus has no clue what they are doing - apparently they don't know I already have the second fob. For grhughes - I bought mine in Atlanta (Costco program) but I complained to Lexus about the smart key on the phone. It requires the phone to have a signal and on the Arsenal there are areas that have no signal to my phone. No idea if this helped but after complaining I got the second fob in about a week.
I am now wondering if, since Lexus has no clue that I have a second bob, will I get a third one at some point.

 

Bought on March 12 received my 2nd Key this month Oct 2nd.

 

Bought 1Apr and received 2nd fob 4th week of September.
dealer said Lexus has keys all backlogs, however customer need to request it!
