Default Driver Monitor questions

One thing I have seen consistent across a couple different reviews is that the driver monitor loctaed right above the steering wheel consistently beeps at you when turning the wheel. Does anyone who owns this have that same experience? Wondering if it was just a glitch in the pre production cars. It seems like a deal breaker if that literally beeps everytime your turning the wheel

Can it be turned off? Or does turning it off, disable the automatic cruise control as well?

It sounds like it’s part of the driver assist package which I think can be disabled. Most of the reviews I’ve seen recommend disabling the whole system because of its sensitivity.

There’s a “Proactive Driver Assist” mode which is the only thing I turn off because it is a little too intrusive.

Of course the settings can be changed and adjusted but I prefer it off.

It seems there should be some way to change the sensitivity because if it is constantly going off when the wheel is turned it kind of defeats the purpose of having it.

It wouldn't be the collision braking that was disabled, it would be the start/stop feature of the automatic cruise control that would be tied to the driver attention monitor.

All other things work. It stops the constant alerts about Driver.

Sound faulty. Return to dealer for diagnosis.

Default How to eliminate Error, Driver sit up message?

We just picked up our RX350H and driving home we get a constant Driver Sit Up message. Hands were not blocking the sensor. Do we need to set something up to eliminate the message?

Is the air bag off for that seat?...If so go to the dealer as your air bag might not be functioning.

You can move the seat all the way to the back, upright seat back, or check page 41 in the manual. Search "sit up" in the owners manual.

Could be similar to the 2022 NX350 having to have the seat "programmed" to work. All the way back, forth, up, down, until it functioned correctly.

Me, I would get this resolved sooner than later.
