I will be doing a full ceramic on Monday. PPF on the small front part of the grille, headlights and mirrors. Will provide a picture when complete. My place did a GREAT job on my Mustang Mach E and I am excited to see how this looks!

Just got my kid's car done - a Mits RVR. It is about the size of an NX for those not familiar. All done in XPel - full hood, full fenders, front bumper (incl. the chrome which they did for free), A-pillar, roofline, headlamps and foglights, and mirror back. Cost was under a grand US. Oh, and they applied some ceramic coating, too. Outstanding job. They said my RX350h will be the same price, but not including the little bits to do the grille. I told them to save me a spot.
Look over there! Something shiny!

Los Angeles Area PPF Full Frontal Pricing - Anyone have any other recommendations?
I've been calling around the Los Angeles area today to get pricing for full frontal PPF as my car is getting closer to delivery in a few weeks. I must have called 25 shops within 30 miles or so, just to get an idea of what they charge and what they would cover, as well as looking into their reputation/reviews. The pricing got as low as $1700, but I was not comfortable with the shops in that price range, and others were in that $2500 range - which is way too high for me... This seems to be the best price for the quality I think I'm comfortable with, and it's a business that's been around for a while. I just wish the pricing was more reasonable than what I was expecting ... If anyone else is here in Los Angeles area and has been happy with a PPF installer and pricing this way, please share:Here's my quote that looks the best so far, and the only one that throws in a few other protected areas that others would not in this price. I marked the extra areas with an asterisk

@R9000 That is not a bad price I guess, given there is probably $300 worth of "extras". BTW, doesn't your car have door sill protectors on it? And is the nav screen a galss protector?
I have to wonder why prices are so much more there than here - same Xpel Ultimate 3/10 mm and labour has to be cheaper in LA? Out of curiosity what does the dealer charge? As I mentioned before, the PPF shop that did the Mits was literally half the price of the dealer (closer to your price when converted to CAD)
Everything in California is more expensive than anywhere else. Food is 20% more expensive in California. gasoline, and any work like this requiring a lot of labor.

Must be all those darn movie stars with their exotic cars!
