Naah. There have been very few bad quality issues. Even the fuel door, for most of us, is just a minor fit issue. I’m lovin’ the Lexus DNA in my latest and greatest version!

Sadly I get no commission! I truly believe this new RX will be a big winner for Lexus. The right amount of new tech, quality, price point, and Lexus luxury insulated feel.

Some of these pictures do look bad. Thanks for posting so I will know what to look for. That said, given issues with other vehicles I've researched, a misaligned gas door isn't as bad. As long as Lexus makes it right, of course.

I would be curious to know what the fix is. It looks as though the entire inside mount housing needs to move more inward 1/8" or so, so I am wondering if it simply needs to be tightened further down. It does not apear that part are defective as most vehicles don't appear to have this issue.

Anyone have any new information to share by chance or any luck with their dealer being able to adjust/ correct their fuel door alignment?

Default Same issue

I’ve had my 2023 RX 350h Luxury for a week and half and noticed the other day from the side mirror that the fuel door isn’t flush. It bothers me when I look in the side mirror. Played around with it and now it seems like it mostly sticks out on the bottom. Seems like something Lexus should correct.

Mine was manufactured in Feb 2023.

Got my RX 350h yesterday and found mine does not flush either. In fact it is quite noticeable.

That's the worst I've seen on here.

We picked ours up yesterday (350h) and it is pretty flush.

Make sure the cable wire for the cap is well inside before closing the door.

Also be gentle with this door especially the plastic peg to the right of the cap. Close the door easily. My F-150 hybrid has a similar setup and the plastic peg on those easily fall off or break. No peg no open on F-150. The RX peg seems to be much tighter than my F-150 so should be ok.

Just noticed the same issue on my 350h after two fillups. Not flush. Going to the dealer as it should not be that way.

That would be unacceptable. Mine is flush.
