What trim level is the 2023? Doesn't look like an F-sport. The older RX is F-sport. Could it be F-sport allows more noise because it's sportier?

6 cylinder sounds like music. 4 cylinder sounds like noise. So that's why the 6 feels quieter.

I just got through doing the test drive on 2024 RX 350 Premium and found it to be quite noisy and almost same level of noisy as 2024 Grand Highlander that I test
drove just 1 hour earlier. My last two vehicle is LS 460 and S550 which is much quieter.

Lousy demo. You need to have the exact same RX model, not an F Sport!!!

350H Premium - 50dB city driving, 55-60dB highway at 70Mph. Not bad.

Hello,

I recently got a RX500h with pano roof and have the same complaint. With all the tech, comfort and workmanship on the vehicle, the level of noise after around 60mph just does not match.

Were you able to resolve the issue with another dealer?

I will take mine to the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say.

No, I believe we just got used to it and with putting more miles on the tires, the noise is less. Hopefully, your dealer can figure something out!

For the car which cost $65k with taxes it can not be like this. First of all if you drive on highway over 55 mph and it’s little windy it’s extremely loud and that’s not because of pano roof , I think it’s bad shape of those two rails on top of the roof . Never thought that fuel engine will be that loud when it start and works on hybrid model . And the third thing which disappointed me when you drive more than 70-75 mph it’s barely make 25 MPG not even close for what manufacturer said of 34 MPG . It’s comfortable and has lots of futures but if I new upfront that it is that loud I would never buy hybrid. Overall great car but NOISE. It’s super slow on start by the way.

Have a great day everyone.
Do you have cross rails installed? Those do create a lot of noise.

our dealer just balanced the tire pressures to 34 psi and told me everything else is the way they are supposed to be

I've also watched a reviewer on youtube measure the db level and he came out with a reading of 55 db at highway speed.

Today I tried the above newspaper experiment, and it just pulls easy. I also parked the car on sideways on the side of a noisy road. And then pulled the front end of the car towards the passing cars. Noise is on the sides. Pretty convinced that there is an issue with my weatherstrips not filling the gap.

I am measuring 10-15dB higher than what is declared on youtube videos. I switched to this car from a Maserati Levante, which was actually quiter with its frameless doors. Really confused here.

Just for the record, at speeds above 120 kmh, I am measuring 3-4 decibels drop in noise level just by switching to air circulation instead of fresh air on. I dont know if this is something normal.

Seems odd that switching from recirculating to fresh air would double the interior noise level. I would expect recirculating to be louder than fresh, but not twice as loud either.

The prior gen V6 was not ultra quiet. Now I'm comparing our new RX which is the 350h but there really is no comparison - the 2024 is so much quieter even on hard acceleration. Again it's a hybrid so with gas engine off, there's no noise
