I like the Lexus way more. Handles better, better ride, better fit and finish. The RX is a winner to me.
The MDX has more interior space. I have no interest in 21” wheels or traffic jam assist, but I may be forced to take them if I want the RX. Does the RX only have 2 way lumbar support? The MDX is out for me because no hybrid. I’m looking at the Mazda CX90 when it comes out.

MDX has maybe a little more but that 3rd row is useless.... I tried the Mazda years ago and hated. Went back a few weeks ago to see the CX9 while the touches were nice the seat/width of leg area was not great. I am small (5'2) but it just seemed narrow. I was not impressed at all. Not sure if the new ones will be similar.

The CX90 is bigger. People who have seen are impressed but, no one has actually driven one yet.

I was impressed by the CX9 until I got into it. Yes, def. bigger than the Lexus but you can't compare.

Sounds like you need the MDX. I for one, like the RX350h much better. My 2022 MDX drivers seat looked 5 years old in less than a week with the wrinkles that developed in the seat and I only weigh 165 pounds. Every time I opened the door to my MDX those wrinkles were there to see. The seat was a complaint shared by many others.

Actually, my 2015 Lexus RX had those same leather wrinkles very quickly. My 2020 has the nuluxe, and they are perfect ! I'm hoping the leather in the 2023 will be fine, perhaps with the suede it will help. Wonder why they did away with the Hybrid MDX? The Mazda CX90 is sharp looking, but the resale and value of those or no where that of Lexus. That is the main reason I have stayed away.

I guess Acura is introducing an all electric SUV. I’ve seen sneak preview ads.

If 23 MDX vs 23 RX, I'll pick MDX.

Side impact 2.0 -- while both technically did "good" overall -- RX got excessive forces to the driver pelvis (resulting in Marginal rating) while the MDX performed a (rare) full clean sweep in all areas earning all "good." MDX is a bit stronger as well on the side.

RX plenty safe for me. I am picking much more dependable, lower maintenance cost , lower depreciation oh yeah plus a 14 inch touchscreen and 70% better gas mileage.

Had a test drive on 2023 MDX a-spec and so disappointed about bumpy and noisy ride on local roads. I do feel the steering wheel was much easier to handle on MDX. We finally bought our first Lexus (RX350h).

‘You made the right choice by going with the RX. I had a 2022 MDX and the bottom of the seat developed wrinkles in less than a week. I was not the only, one, everyone on the MDX forum was complaining. The interior of the RX is superior and you will enjoy for sure.

‘’pictures when you can.
