FWIW our 2023 RX350 was in for some work, and we got a 2022 RX450h as a loaner. We were surprised at how much noise and vibration there was from the hybrid 4 cylinder. Granted different model year but we could not wait to get our RX350 back. Very happy first time Lexus owners.

The RX350 gas with the turbo 2.4 needs to be reved for turbo to do something to add torque to move the car. The RX350h on the other hand has electric motors that kick in right away helping the car move, much quieter and smoother.

Horsepower is meaningless in everyday driving in the city. High speed driving is where HP is meaningful.

Torque is what gets the car off the line.

The turbo 4 makes maximum torque at only 1700 rpm though, it passes the hybrid torque pretty quick. Plus the turbo has this huge flat torque curve through the rev range while the hybrid will keep building until the engine torque hits max at 4500 rpm. The turbo 4 engine starts the power curve at about 200 ft lbs while the hybrid is rated at 233 ft lbs max.

Do you mean the RX450h had a lot of NVH? I believe that was still a 6 cyl unless they gave you a '23 RXh as a loaner.

My mistake I assumed the 2022 RX450h had a 4 cylinder. You are correct it had a 6 cylinder (sorry first time Lexus owner). I would not say the RX450h had a lot of NVH, but it seemed to me that the RX350 Turbo 4 had less.
