Mine does.
However, I must clarify this. When I run Pemex Premium gasoline in Mexico, I always hear this sound.
When I run U.S. gasoline, any variety, I never hear this sound.

No, but do often on the Honda fwiw, more in the summer as I recall. Honda has the original gas cap too which the State inspections actually check for a good seal every 2 years. No gas smell in the garage with the 2 cars.

Gas tank air woosh more common in Summer heat
The RX series have plastic gas tanks and are not known for much woosh when you open other than the hottest days of Summer. The new RX400h has a sealed metal tank and it requires an equalization of pressure step for the fuel door to open. This might add 15 seconds to filling up but reduces any emissions.

A lot of guys at my local track pour in the little NOS bottles you find at Walmart. They have a fuel injector cleaner, an off-road formula and a racing formula.
I can tell you when I have tried these products, the pressure is way more pronounced than if I just run premium gas alone.
I can also add it really did not add up to much in the 1/4 mile. However, several buddies radically improved their times after dumping in two bottles.
Next time I use Techron for my injectors, I will let you know if there is more pressure.

Want better time? One word buddy: SUPERCHARGER Excellent for high-altitude use.
Techron is too mild. If the gas in Mexico is really that bad, pick up some ChemTool B-12 when you're in the States. Techron = Bud Light. ChemTool = Jack Daniels.

I should clarify. The stuff is not NOS, but it is made by the same company. They are Octane Boosters.
I used the Techron because the car runs a little bit better, not necessarily to clean the injectors any more. For that, I use Restore fuel injector cleaner.
The TRD supercharger will not work in the VVTI engine properly, not reliable. Even if it did, the gains, I believe 40-50 hp, does not justify it. TTE made a compressor-type supercharger that got about 49 and does work with the RX300. However, I want more power.
What I plan to do is do a Turbo mod when I get back to the states. Already, my mods are giving me good power at my altitude.

My car doesn't and I think it should.

I don't even bother worrying about it any more.
I do have one problem with the gas tank. When I am just about to hit the low fuel warning or even when I hit it...then fill up...gas tank does not show full.
End up having to pull one of the batter cables to get it reset.
There must be some crud at the bottom of my tank.
