Chattering front right during accelerating from stop.
When accelerating from a stop I get this chattering sound, braking sensation. It seems like the anti-lock brake is coming on, stops after a few seconds and all is OK. This happens maybe 1 in 6 or 7 starts. Has anyone:sad: experienced this on there RX300 or other vehicles? Please e-mail me if you can offer any solutions.

Pole Position
Could be your speed sensor on the right front wheel. It may have debris on it giving a false indication. can be removed and cleaned real easy. It has wires going to the front brake assembly and is held in with one bolt. The other thing is your right half shaft may be worn. But I doubt it. Check and make sure the rubber boots on the drive (half shaft) are not torn open.

How hard do you accelerate and how good (treads ) are your tires and also what is the condition of the road. If traction is poor and the wheel is just spinning then it could be normal behavior.

Good things to check.
I will check the sensor.
If I let go of the brake it start moving forward no problem.
When I give it the gas (not any speed starts, just normal), sometimes I get the pulsing/grinding noise.
Car actually dive a little to the front right and slight turn to right.
Dry pavment, level road, air pressure same, good tread.

bryan,I had the exact same problem when I first got mine. Evidently the traction control system (vsc) uses the antilock brake/speed sensor.This is what I did to remedy the problem,you have to do this to all four sensors,take the wheel off,locate the speed sensor,take it out (10mm wrench i think it was) clean it with wd-40 dry it well,I also used a can of office duster (optional) Re-install,problem solved. In my case,the sensors were loaded with debri,tiny metal particals that stick to the magnet,on the sensor.Remember,for best results do all four wheels.
