Default P1155 Help - Pictures needed for "The Hose"

I got the CEL, VSC , Trac Off indicators this morning. Thanks to this forum, I am almost certain it's with the dreaded hose not being connected properly to the airfilter (I had an oil change done recently)

Autozone gave me P1155 and I went to my local firestone. They suggested replacing the air/fuel ratio sensor. The oddity of the situation is that they are also advising me to replace the entire Brake Actuator module ($3000).

At this point, can someone post some pictures that would help me in identifying the hose that's supposed to be connected? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Club.

Well, first thing you should do is (best way) disconnect the battery cables for about a minute, then drive and see if the code comes back on again.

That particular hose you will find on the back of the black airbox on the right side of the engine bay (I wish I had a photo, but my engine is far from being stock).

The hose is located right behind the airfilter box and lower than the mid-level of the box. It usually gets disconnected as you lift the top cover of the filter box to replace the filter. It is just matter of pushing the rubber hose down onto the metal tube. My VSC and Trac-Off light has not disappear though and it does not produce any code on the scanner. Lexus114 suggested to clean the sensors and I am planning to do that this weekend..

Thanks everyone for the help.

The key difference here is he`s got the check engine light as well, hence the ecm trouble code.Your`s is just the vsc/trac light,no ck engine light, and no code.No code to go by means being a true mechanic/trouble shooter.....

You shouldn't need a picture. Just look directly under the brake fluid container and behind the air box. A black hose runs between the air box and firewall. It connects the air box lid to a metal tube below. When you open the lid it can pull the hose off the metal tube below.
I don't think this is your problem. You should get a evap type code when that hose comes off, like P0440, P0441 or P0446. Your code is most likely the sensor.
