Hello i getting this rear end clunking noise when i am driving slowly over bumps and it seems to be getting worse.. I think it could be the strut mounts but i checked them and they look good so I will be poking around to see if anything is loose.. If anyone can steer me in the right direction I will deeply appreciate it.. Thanks for any help...

How many miles? Have you checked the exhaust hangers?

Thanks it has 135000 miles on it.. I will check the hangers but could it also be the sway bar links?

How big does the bump have to be to hear the noise...like a speedbump?

Its a clunking sound when step on the accelerator or small bumps..Also when you hit sharp curves you can hear it...

Take a look at the bolts in these areas and make sure they're tight.

When you say rear end, do you hear it from a certain side of the vehicle.

Does it sound like a clunk or pop on acceleration?

Thanks for that picture it really helps a lot.. Are those the sway bar links that someone mentioned to me? I looked at them but i did not lift the car on jacks so it might be hard to tell.. Should i remove those bolts to see if the rubber is shot on them? Thanks

Don't remove those bolts, try to tighten them up. They can get loose. My rubber hasn't been shot yet, but usually the bolts can get a little play.

The only time I have those adjusted normally is when I do a 4 wheel alignment since mine is AWD.
