Chrome door handles...

Hey i know it might sound 'ricey' but i was amazed at the look of the RX400h i saw the other day.
This was probably the last model year of this bodystyle.
Looked like this, except it had additional trimmings as it was the Hybrid model:

The Pebble Beach edition. It looked hot.
So i am wondering wether or not anyone found a good source for these handles yet?
I remember a thread on here a while back, on the matter and the eBay ones 'stick out' too much and look like crap.
Whats my best bet here? Just trying to 'freshen up the look' on a 2004 RX330 that belongs to my dad.
Here is what it looks like currently: *sorry iPhone pic*

But it isn't a base model, it has the Wood trim option on the interior, and the HIDs. Its a great truck and for the time being wouldn't mind getting the handles and maybe something else?
Any suggestions? As to where i can find these handle covers.
***to those wondering when they stumble upon this thread in a search, these have lasted since I posted this thread... were going on three years, in a climate that has harsh winters and hot summers. All is well as of 08/10/2013

Oh yeah. And i am seriously considering getting the thin chrome trim that sits above the door moldings as well.
Don't take this the wring way, but i personally hate chrome accents, but i think this color and the body style of the car would benefit from a more 'updated' look, if you will.

eBay was the best place I found to order them, around $150 after shipping. They came straight from Japan and took a week to get here. They look great but I have factory chrome rims; I could understand some people not liking them. Very easy to install.

You have the same color as mine, the chrome handles upgrades your car to 2008, where chrome handles were standard.

Send us the link for the ebay seller. 4 sets for $150 shipped is not bad at all. Thanks.

They are genuine Toyota handles and NOT covers. I checked out the covers locally and now that I have handled both *no pun intended* -> factory handles are the only way to go. Seems shipping has gone up a lot. I paid $18 for shipping a couple of months ago making it $152 total and NOW $28 for shipping makes them $162. Price of crude I guess. They fit like a charm and supper easy to install. Seller is zeroism702

They have their own web site. I'll have to look it when I get home.

I can get them cheaper I think. And if your local to CA no shipping charges is you are willing to drive near Toyota Corp. to pick them up. Just thought I would chime in on that since I am definitely going to get them. I think I can get them for a little over $100. But I still need to clarify with my seller. It's not on her site cause she told me she could not confirm if they fir the US Cars and the part number. I guess now we know it does.
She's totally legit and sells allot of JDM stuff to me. myautofashion.com

the chrome handle swap out for the OEM ones-not the tape on from ebay. Thats going to be alot work involved. you will need to take apart all four door panels. If its just for looks and you really want them-which I would say you do because of the posting -buy the ebay stick on. Especially if you are not hands on.
but.....if you are go for it and post your experience with some pics. We love pics around here....

^^ It's not that im not hands on, the posts suggesting the OEM options are nice.
But... i'm not willing to go out and spend 150$ for some stupid door handles... so i will give the stick-on's a whirl and see how those look.
Worst comes to worst i'll peel them off and be out 20$ or so!

You know they are stick ons every time you open the door. Cheap.......
It's a 40K car. the OEM replacements are OEM quality. $150 is really not a huge price considering. I spend $300 for my JDM OEM Wind Visors. They are better designed and built than any of the ones you can get here hands down.

It's not that difficult to DIY. A Lexus can be stripped pretty quickly and they are designed very similar to many other Toyota's. I did this on my xA. Labor would be 30 to 40 min. mostly pop off stuff and some screws.
