I just came back from the NYC car show and compare my 2010 RX the others in this catagory. I find the RX to be just right! The others are no where as nice interior wise. They are much smaller and narrower inside. I am even more happy w/ my choice now. The only ones I would consider over the RX is the Volvo XC60 and the Caddy SRX. Beautiful car inside and out for the Volvo, but I refuse to buy a Volvo knowing what they stand for. The SRX is again smaller than the RX, but its absolutely GORGEOUS!

There was a study released from National Auto Insurance that issued a warning to motorcycle rider to steer clear of Volvo drivers due to a study they conducted that showed:
1. most people who bought a Volvo was looking for "safer" car because they were previously in multiple car accident and need a "safer" car to protect them
2. They found that because Volvo drivers were in more than one major accident they also had a 40% higher chance of being involved in another accident
Therefore I still away from Volvo's and will not buy one. Sorry, but that's just me and 90% of Volvo's I see on the road always are doing something stupid on the road.

Nope an absolutely true story. This is more known is the motorcycle community. Ask any avid motorcyclist and they'll know abouthe study.
As for the SRX yes, I was referring to the 2010 SRX. This model will give the 2010 RX a run for its money!

While I'm waiting for my 2010 RX, my dealer is lending me a loaner. Not sure how long the RX will arrive but that's pretty good service considering.
Anyway, to be on topic, the FX35 (2006 though) has a smaller interior than the RX and the leather doesn't feel as nice. Everything seems bulky and bulging inside. Feels like there's a lot of wasted space. While the seats have lots of support and is nice and wide. I couldn't seem to find a comfortable position for myself.
As for the drive, the suspension is stiff but handles well. You feel the bumps on the road a lot though, that's why I like the nice comfortable ride of the RX.
My only favorite part about the FX35 is the exhaust note. You gotta love the way it sounds.
