iPhone USB problem *with video*
When scrolling through lists or songs or playlists, the system will automatically select the top choice on the list segment you are viewing. Please view the video, I am only clicking on the scroll down and scroll up buttons and the system is automatically selecting the top song or playlist choice.
This is NOT an issue with a music CD; I have not been able to try this out with a regular iPod yet.

Turbo....unfortunately that is the way the system works with an iPod. It annoys the hell out of me too. What I really hate is browsing the list of artists (I have over 7000 tracks on mine). They really need to at least have alphabetic tags like the address book does. Otherwise you have to scroll through the whole list and each time it selects the top artist on your list. Lexus really should have done a better job on this.

My car does not have that problem when scrolling with either the iPhone or the iPod 160GB. It could be on the US version of the NAV. The South African version does not have that issue; the only irritation is that you can't scroll while in motion.

FYI My Audi A4's iPod integration is quite good. You can scroll through lists based on Genre, Artist, Album, Songs & Playlists. Within each of those categories you can scroll continuously (it doesn't start playing any song until you select it). You can't search by letter, but the speed of scrolling speeds up with repeated turning of the **** so you can get to the middle or end of the list faster.

And the song title is also displayed between the speedometer and tach (there's a secondary LCD display there).
All of this wasn't meant to praise Audi and bash Lexus, but just to say Lexus has really fallen behind the curve on this one.
(Same to be said of the Nav system. Here's a snapshot of Audi's current eye candy:
