Default XM Radio up for renewal-any deals?

So my XM trial is up...in my previous 3 vehicles I was able to call XM and "negotiate" a lower rate. (usually 30-50% below rack rate) I had to mention certain promo codes. The one that used to work was a "WIN BACK" offer. But, I don't think it will work any longer.

Has anyone discovered any promo codes or deals to get a discount on renewals?

Thanks

Many of us have been able to obtain a 'Lifetime' subscription for $399. It's a good deal if they stay in business. Not so good if they don't but it's cheaper than 36 months at $12. They may tack on a royalty fee on top of that that's something new.

We had two cars with sirius and got the discount on the second one. Now I have one with sirius and one with XM that they want full price for. Thanks for the code info. We have one more free month on the XM.

Much like the forum you're reading now, the above-referenced one has MULTIPLE PAGES. Scroll to the end and you'll see posts much more recent than 6 years ago.

I just called to renew myself. I got a year of XM AND Sirius for $102 total. NavTraffic would have been another $10/month, which is about 100X more than it's worth IMO.

Thanks, never thought of doing that. I'm lucky I know how to turn it on.

OK, so mine is up, and I confess - I checked the FatWallet site, and there are conflicting offers for Sirius vs. XM.

I've never had either. I'm assuming I currently have both, and I can call either 800 number to negotiate a deal...

True? False?

Help??!!

Sandi, who doesn't want to spend $399 for this...

The factory installed radio is XM. You need to call them for renewal. You can add the "Best of Sirius" to your subscription for a few bucks more per month too.

I'm paying $101.95 (including all taxes and fees) for the year for XM and the Best of Sirius.

OK I did it! I just called XM, and just kept repeating:

"I see you have a special running on XM Everything for $77 per year, and that's the package I'd like to sign up for."

No problem, and MUCH less expensive than $142.45 per year! Thanks for the notes on this; without it, I would not have renewed the service.
