Great review @MPalmer The steering system is something I was really interested in. I figured it would work if Lexus developed it. (I have read that Tesla is going to have something similar in the future). The rear drive with just one motor is very innovative as well.

I’m not sure this is going to be the next hit feature.
I think it will. The new system makes it easier to dial all kinds of different experiences via software during development

Sofyan recorded 0-60 in about 4.7 seconds. That's almost as fast as the IS500 lol. Doubt anyone will be complaining about the lack of power in daily use.

Even if it's dead last in its segment in terms of charging and efficiency/range, I would still take it over an RX or NX. And it's more spacious than the former too.

Yeah, the RZ offers a much better driving experience than any of the turbo-4s thanks to its EV power band. As I tried to communicate in my coverage, it's an interesting vehicle bc its spec sheet doesn't tell the whole story

Also, adding this to the OP -- a quick visual comparison of the RZ and RX -- https://www.clublexus.com/articles/l...ce-similarity/

Wow Gabe from CR is pretty perturbed that the new Lexus takes a while to charge overnight.

This car looks really good and if you are going to use it urban environment only it makes sense actually. Unfortunately not even that is going to save it from being the second biggest Lexus flop after HS.
