I can't vouch for how it will perform in your particular car, or if there is enough room for the bulb. I've used this on other cars and it performs very well in a projector.

Reply is much appreciated. Looking for SC owners with LED in the projector housing. I'm sure it is high output.

Bryan,
Installed Led lights in my low and high beams and my wife's SUV two years ago and have not looked back. I don't think I have seen anyone write anything negative about Led bulbs (lights).
Best of luck to you.

I went with Sylvania LED 9006 bulbs, plug and play, made a world of difference from the halogen ones.

This is the resource I've used to find bulbs for my brothers car, worked out REALLY well so I'll likely be using it in the future for mine. Hope it helps.

I’ve had LED’s in both my GS and SC over the years. The LED’s put out less light than an HID kit on the GS. I used a few different ones from eBay, Superbrightleds, and V-LED’s. This was from 2014-2020. In 2020 I bought a Morimoto 5000k HID ki and it’s the brightest setup I’ve used so far.t. I’ve heard good things about newer LED low beam bulbs from brands like Sylvania.

I ran LED’s in my GS300 from 2020 until May of 2023 and it was terrible. It was worse than halogen, but the GS has terrible headlights compared to the SC. I switched over to using a nice 9012 halogen bulbs for the fogs and low beams, and it was a dramatic improvement. I never tried the 9012 bulb on the SC but it puts out twice the lumens of a regular halogen.

HID has no chance against the latest LED bulbs they are dim in comparison.

So, any updates on this? I see people talking about LEDs in the SC headlights on FB about once a month, but no one has actually found a LED kit for the SC factory projector headlights that works better than the typical 35W HID kits you can get now for $45 with a 2 year warranty.

I have friends who rave about $199 LED bulbs, but they all drive newer cars with refractor housing lights that were meant to be HIDs or halogens. All cars 2006+

I finally got AUXITO for the Low Beam and High beam. The stock halogens from the factory were in there and were dim and the color of a flame of a fire, very orangy.
. I made sure to orient the LED's same as the bulbs that came out. I could not of been happier. Just took it on a 1300 mile round trip and about 6hrs of that in the dark.
Made a world of difference!!!! Some just stick the LED's in there and wind up blinding on coming traffic. Have to be oriented. Low beams worked great with the SCs projector lens! High beams worked great too111 Got them off Amazon and their search .

I have the Moriomoto 2 Stroke 3.0 LED’s in my low beams. I think they look very good but they’re not perfect. An HID bulb will give a better beam pattern. I’m happy with mine because the color is very nice and so is the brightness but part of me is still wanting to have the HID’s to get the best beam pattern possible.

Hope this helps!
