Default needs opinion on sc300 pricing HELP PLEASE

i'm here in southern california, i already have an sc300 but lookin for another one. i found a 94 that had about 80,000 miles and was in very very very good condition. looks almost brand new! the only problems were that it had 2 little scractches on the bumper, and the driver seat's messed up ( you can't move it forward, it gets stuck on the right side, only left side goes up and it angles the seat!! weird.. anyone had this problem before? anyone know how to fix it? how much it costs?) and the last problem is that it is under salvaged title by theft recovery. is 6500 a good deal? how much do u guys think this car's worth? thanks for any help!

Default Take a pass on a salvage title.

Unless you are going to drive the wheels off it and park it in a scrap yard when you done, a salvage title is never a good idea. Just my take.

I think it's all about what you want from the car.

It's difficult to determine the price of a salvage titled car because of the small resale market. You're limited in the number of people you can sell the car to, which is a big consideration for many people when they purchase a car. Generally, salvage titled cars sell for a fraction of a simliar car with a clean title. I would give it a look over again, but the price seems pretty fair to me. I would never buy a salvage titled car though, because resale is important to me.

Fix the car up and see if you can get the title issued as clean again if it really matters.

wow.. i got 2 sc's now.. picked up the new one today (94 sc300 black w/ tan leather with 75k miles).. everything seems PERFECT.. until i got home and locked the one and only copy of the key in the car and locked myself out!! first day with the car.. hm.. bad luck on the first day huh... paid 70 bucks for a locksmith that spent 5 seconds to unlock it!..
its salvaged title by theft recovery. all the stolen parts that were stolen were replaced with brand new ones! making me think salvaged title is a good thing now.. i couldn't find any problems with my car other than these: (HELP ME IF YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX IT!!!)

1. my lock button doesn't work on both sides (unlock works only)
2. water condensation in headlights (i kno how 2 fix this and i will)
3. the air can't be controlled by levels, max is on when turned on even when it has 1 bar or 2 or 3

ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE!!
i'll post pix of both of my sc's up tomorrow.. its kinda dark right now to take them..
