My boost gauge is in the mail. I'm 99% sure I will be mounting it inside of my stock gauge cluster. I'll keep you guys updated....

Well, started this project today... lets just say it's going a lot better than planned! I'm really happy with the boost gauge I bought, and it should look amazing next to the Lextech white LED numbers / blue waterfall needles of my gauge cluster. This first part went very smooth, but the fabrication from here may take a while... will definately be worth it, though.

I'm not going to post pics til it's all done, which will probably this weekend, but I'll be sure to get some pics.

Mine are being custom molded into the dash console under the AC control module. 3 Gauges, each in its own pod...It goes to ultimate audio next week for this. I will post up pics...

Default Defi boost gauge

I wanted an OEM look, basically wanted people to get in my car and think its factory, but also be in a spot thats practical. one week after installing my oil cooler I blew a line, if I diddnt have that oil pressure gauge visible I woulda been a little upset after only having my 1jz in for 2 weeks. Well here's the Defi white and red gauge lit up installed where my driverside tweeter would be. Matches my cluster which is white with red SMD needles(dont make anymore I think) from lextech.

here it is next to my cluster with the defi control unit II mounted in the spot next to the steering wheel(had to cut into it and some of the plastic behind it, you can set warning levels, view the peak boost you've hit, and even record and playback so you can see boost spikes and stuff.

Hah! yeah, its been three years and counting from when I started this thread with a question. It is self-regeuvinating with fresh ideas and interesting to look at if you're running a turbo. Great to see it alive and kicking.
