Default newbie here

first off i did read the sticky: how to post. but i was still unsure of how clublexus runs its boards and wasnt too sure if you had a newbie section. but i think by posting the the sc300 forum was my best shot. i dont own one yet, but after riding/driving my friends ....... 93? sc300, i fell in love. i said i have to have one.

so i guess any feedback or directions to old threads on what to look for while buying, what to look for in the car itself, i.e. what kind of motor, etc ...

im looking for a 93ish 5speed. thats pretty much all i got. i hope i am welcome and learn enough before i can collect all my pennies to get one.

b.t.w. im a minitrucker so i dont know a great deal about lexus cars. except for im putting 2003 sc430 wheels on my ranger

i went from a 96 4cyl ranger automatic with no power, to a 95 sc300 fully loaded automatic. once you get the sc you just sit there and stare at it for a while trying to figure out if the car is really yours or not check out intellexual mkiv, there you will learn anything and everything you could possible want to know about a lexus sc. i also noticed that you asked what a soarer is on another thread. The sc is actually a Toyota Soarer in Japan, but when they export the car to america it becomes a Lexus Sc, marketing reasons and export/inport crap. i dont know really why they do it

'97 stepside with tan interior and factory cd. sold the exploder and bought the bimmer in my sig to go along with my lex. still got the ranger. love it, can't live without a truck, and that's the umpteenth ranger i have had. slightly addicted.
