Silly to destroy a running/driving SC, so let's hope that isn't the real plan. Although these cars aren't exactly rare they are still quite special and more so over time.

Makes no sense to junk it. What would a yard pay? Maybe a few hundred which is a percentage of what they are going to recover in scrap metal sale of the body. All parts sales are pure profit for them. It could be thrown on ebay as is with fully disclosing the problems. Just the 97+ body panels/lamps are worth something. Someone would buy it for way more than a junkyard would pay. It won't bring $6K if the engine and transmission are shot but it will find a buyer.
