Default I have a chance to buy a 1995 SC400 @ dealers auction

I work for an auto finance company here in Phx AZ, and we just had a repo go through auction--a 1995 sc400-pearl white, gold package-every option-beautiful-flawless car...Anyway we repoed it cause they were a 1st payment default and they put 3,000 miles on it in 2 months!! for a total of 143,078! At the auction the battery wouldn't hold a charge and the oil was a quart low but my Boss bought it into inventory and is offering it to me for $6000 !!?? He keeps saying "you don't want to buy this car"--But my only thought is "What other chance will a dumbhead like me have to own a Lexus?" I have to decide by the end of the week.. What should I do??

If the car has traction control, heat seats and Nakamichi stereo, sunroof then it a good price, pay him $5,500.00 . I know that living in AZ you don't need all that but you do drive on snow and rain from time to time....

Smile Ok So I got the Car!!

I saw it- drove it- now I love it!! Some guy saw me and said "that car is you"--I wondered if that meant I was high miles, but very clean--I guess I can live with that...

Very reasonable price. It obviously looks good. If you like the way it drives, I have 2 words for you: DO IT!

Default You want more ??

Here's another pic--my only problems now are my total lack of an owners manual, and I think it useto have an integrated phone but its missing. If you press the buttons on the left of the steering wheel it tells you to get service through verison wireless--is this so if your car gets stolen it can call for help?? I did end up with 4 extra floor mats--so if anyones interested........

Default oh yeah -- about the steering wheel

I thought it was a wood wheel at first too, but it's actually a really trippy steering wheel cover that feels like a laminate but is laced onto it--I don't know if I should take it off or what?
