1992 Sc400
I’ve had my lexus sc400 for about 2 months now, im 17 and still in highschool. I come from a mustang background so its like looking at a new beautiful machine for me. any advice and tips, is there anything i should look for? I mean i already have the car now but is this a good 2nd car/ daily driver i had a scion tc as my first car.

I haven't owned a 400 but I can only imagine its a better car in stock form than my favorite car I've owned a 92 SC300
400 is significantly more powerful, lighter and has a better weight balance than the 300.
I had a 2007 scion tC with low miles, I'd take my high miles SC over it any day.
I have had quite a few cars now, 2007 tC, 2002 Altima, 2014 Corolla S, 2014 Civic, 2009 Challenger R/t, 1973 Duster and 5 SC300.
I'd pick a nice SC over any of them.
Things to look out for -> ecu problems (can come in many many different forms - the 95 I bought wouldn't shift into high gear -> repaired the ecu and the car shifted perfectly) , control arm bushings / ball joints, steering rack bushings if your steering has a dead zone (2 of the 5 I've bought came to me with really jacked up steering - invaluable replacement night and day difference)
Just about anything and everything you could think to do to these cars has been done and discussed, if you are willing to do work yourself the information is out there - and if it hasn't been done to a SC its probably been done to a LS or GS. Lots of information around on here, other forums and facebook groups
Lets see the car!

It's a beautiful daily but it try to save my drives for when I'm going a farther than 10 mins. You don't really get to enjoy this cruiser on quick trips and it's also not good for your car or your wallet (premium gas to run daily errands)
