Has anyone been able to retain cruise control w/an after market steering wheel?
Hi guys, I've looked through the forums up and down, and used the search and all. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone has been able to retain their cruise control w/an aftermarket wheel. Reason I'm asking is a good friend of mine is willing to give me a brand new momo wooden steering wheel, that would I think would look great w/my tan leather interior.
Up to this point i've been very reluctant in taking the wheel, not to mention I still would have to order the hub, but I have had a friend that owns a shop locally ask around and he can't seem to find a kit to retain the cc option. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
On another note, does any body have any pics of a wooden wheel on their SC? I think it should look good, but any opions are more than welcome. thanks alot.

A few of the guys here in Australia have done it. And there are 2 main ways of getting it to work. First off you need a special 'cruise control enabled boss kit' which costs around AUD$150 or so (imported from japan - i havent done it so i dont know where from).
one of the methods i have seen has the cruise buttons on the actual boss kit. Just 3 buttons as opposed to the 4 original - OEM has Activate, Set/Decelerate, Resume/Accelerate, Cancel; the aftermarket ones have only Activate, Set/Decel,Res/accel. They are 3 separate 10mm (0.5") buttons on the top of the boss, accessible through the top section of your wheel.
The other method is by using a specific MOMO steering wheel which had the 3 buttons for the cruise around the horn button in the centre...
