Default lol..

lol...yeah man, $400. It was worth it, you can't tell its even there, unless you get close up to the bumper. See ONE HOT SC 400 your car is that blueish silver color like my brothers, so you can't really see the rock chips and other stuff. With black, man you see ever last single rock chip. Plus, I take the highway everyday, back and fourth. You can wax the clear bra, nextlevelcoupe, it is shiny, u treat it as if it weren't there.

This is the most you can see of it. I had to take the picture at this angle just so you see it.

what would the price be for a stock 97 bumper? btw, are those autocouture wheels?
I think it is like $325 for stock bumpers. This is some pretty tough stuff, its not a easy job to put on. It took at least 4-5 hours to put on. Sorry, no autocouture here, they are ATA H10.

Lookin' Good Man! What part of NJ are you in? It looks very familiar.
Irvington Area.

one suggestion, take the sc off the fender.

Looks awesome.

OneHot: I agree with you, it is more economical to paint the bumpers. Imagine someone scrapes your bumper, there goes the protective covering and the paint!

Hustler

That is VERY nice my friend, VERY nice. The black paint mixed with the kit and 20s look nice, very smooth. That kit is so low, and the drop is moderate it does the trick! What do you have planned next?

Good job overall

Onehot, nextlevel:

That price is kinda high for a stock bumper, I got quoted 300 for the front bumper and all 6 lights for my car, installed!

I figure a factory front bumper should be more like 225 or something. like others have said, you could paint BOTH bumpers for 400 bucks!

Default thanks ya'll

Hey, I probably got rip off, if DGOT20's know a place for $300, and all lights. I was under the impression every shop couldn't put this stuff on the bumpers. Oh well, its too late But, the way I travel in my car, my front bumper was getting messed up wit rock chips after 1 month of driving.

What HID kit are you using?
I think both kits are 6000K.

What do you have planned next?
I'm looking to do the roof wing next.

Aliga, I disagree with you about the sc emblem on the side. I think it's cool. It gives this car a different touch than anyone else's car.
This is a great looking car, all the way around.

Dont worry about it man, it is what it is, and your bumper is protected! Once again, you did a REALLY good job with the car!

I only put the emblem on the side because I did want to give it a different look than other SC's in my area. Also, because all the newer cars have something there, like the GS's have Sports Design, and others have Platium Edition. I didn't want to put a ugly blinking side marker

I have the sc300 emblem on the side of my car for the same reasons as yours with an additional one. At least 2 times a week, someone asks, "what model lexus is that?" Before I put the emblem on the side I got that question 4 times a week. There are probably more people who aren't bold enough to ask.
The main reason is I LIKE IT. Isn't that what customizing is all about. I don't like plain silver rims but you'll never hear me criticizing someone else about their choice. I can also admire other people's choices.

I'll say it again, your car looks great all around.

thats of the main reasons i wanted a SC, no other car is so up to date, literally and based on opionon.

Literally: the body style ran from 92-00 so that was only 3 yrs ago

Opionion: the smooth profile, etc etc still looks fresh, for reference, go look at 94 Ford Taurus!! LOL
