AC Kit vs stock 93 kit
The AC Kit is sweet, no question to it. Expensive, but sweet. Wouldn't mind having it myself, but, just bought and installed the TEIN FLEX, several bushings (Rear I-Beam/Axle mounts, engine mounts) drive shaft center main bearing, replaced a couple of interior trim pieces, timimg belt and water pump, spark plug wires, etc. This week, the Stage 1 Shift Kit is going in. At the end of this month, I am replacing the leather, and installing my new stereo system in as well. Gotta take a break after that, or my wife may "Bobbitize" me Just kidding But, she might consider divorcing me Again, a joke, but yoy get the point. She can't see it. Even though I make the lion share of the income. So, to keep the peace, and to be slow down just a bit, I will be doing the paint and body additions later this year.
Here is my point-
1)AC kit is beautiful
2)IMO, the general shape of the front bumper of the AC kit is very similar to the shape of my 93 SC400 with the lower lip. When I look at the profile, it is very close, just some slight angle changes and the newer grille and fogs.
3)I am considering keeping my front bumper because I actually like the look quite a bit, and custom building two fog enclosures that will be attached in the lower grill area next to the turn signal lights. They will look alot like the small round fogs on the new BMW 3 series, and the enclosure will look like the new 2-door Mercedes Coupe. It will be a real integrated look, which is how I like it.
4)I will then add either the stock 97+ side skirts, or ones like the AC.
Anyway, these are my current thoughts on that.

I think the AC kit looks a lot more like the 97+ kit than the 93. The tiny grile towards the front of the hood, and the areas off to the sides, around the fogs. I dunno if its just me, but regardless I think its a beautiful kit and looks GREAT on any black SC along with the CF. Way to go.
