I've read the blue tinted "HID wannabes" are very hard on your eyes at night, esp. when driving for lengthy periods of time. HIDs on appear blue from certain angles, on eof which is NOT from persepctive of the interior of the car, thus they don't "harm" your eyes.
This is due to the amount of "glare" that is put out with bulbs that are over 6000k hue...If you guys check out Lex400sc's site, it'll give a full understanding of the glare issue...

The piaa ion yellow bulbs are silver... so you won't really notice them during the day...
I have Piaa ion yellow bulbs, they do NOT give out white light...It really depends where you angle your headlight or projector...If you angle the PIAA bulbs on a upward angle, they will give out a GREAT Brillance of Yellow hue but, on the other hand, you will not see much of the road in front of you..If you angle them on a downward angle, they will give out a rather white look and will "flicker" a yellow hue and will give you greater visibilty of the road in front of you...IMO, these are the best NON-HID bulb you can buy..I've had them for over a year, and I love them..Absolutely no color fade, no burnt harnesses and great great output...

okay so as for the parking/city lights... they are 194... I also agree that the HID will dim them out easy
Opps...I thought you guys were talking about fog lights...As far as 194 parking light goes, I simply pulled the plug on those little annoying lights..Looks better with HID w/o them IMO..Just gives out a cleaner look..

Actually the glare issue is because the housing was not made for HIDs. The color issue is another completely different matter. Colors above 4100K are more strenuous on the eyes.

well I'm certain i'm going to go with either polarg or piaa for the ion yellow cornering lights... I'm still not sure what color to go for the parking lights.... i might just unplug them too haha
