Hey guys, finally got some engine work done. Valve cover gaskets was the big one and let me tell you. Aside from saving myself around 600 dollars by me and my uncle taking on the project, I was amazed at how bad it looked. Maybe it was because when you look at your own car every worry is amplified 100 times but the gaskets themselves were so old that they were the equivilant of plastic... The car smells and feels soooooo much better now. I also got my rear brake pads replaced. The ride is so much more enjoyable now. For 400 dollars and about 8 hours of driving, along with about 4 hours of actual labor this car is better than its ever been. It is well worth it to get these things done if your car needs them, I just got lucky and found someone to help me do this, cause there is no way i would have been able to do this on my high school senior budget!! Car is now in tip top running condition and looks great with the wax job i added today when i got home!!!
