Default carbon fibre dash

I made a lot of calls today looking for a carbon fibre dash kit to cover the wood on my sc300. Nothing was available. Does anyone know where to get one? I heard Emerald does. I sent her 3 e-mails on the sc400tuner.com site 3 times with no reply.

You are not the first to say that Emerald will not respond. the whole operation seems defunct now. I'm not sure what is going on.

We've got a new forum sponsor that makes dash covers for the IS and GS... has anyone contacted them to see if they might make one?

I have emailed multiple companies and no one answers me either. I emailed Emerald multiple times also because I know she USE to have one.

Dave, I PMed IPT over a week ago and have not recieved a response yet. I need this carbon fiber wood replacment so I can put my interior back into my car! I will donate all my wood as I already have it all off and there is nothing wrong with it.

SOMEONE PLEASE GET THIS GOING!!!!

I'll see what I can do to help convince them to make some SC kits .

Have you also tried emailing them? I just bumped a thread in the approved vendors forum that had IPT's email in it.

No I havn't... I will copy what I PMed them, and send them an email. I just figured that since they were a sponsor they would be on here and check PM's and such.

For once I am excited that I may actually get this done!

man, i've been dying to do this for the longest time too.
i made a kit for the center of my dash.....but the carbon i used does not have the flexibility to go around curves. only bends. now i just need something to replace the wood to complete my dash.
i didn't bother doing the radio part cuz i'm gonna replace it with a single din radio, so i can fit two 60mm guages in there w/ some more carbon.

turbo sc.....how did you get the wood pieces off the dash? can you pm me how?

I will just post it. Since this may shy some people away... you HAVE to REMOVE your dash, and door panels to do this. I had tan interior... bought full black interior, so in the process I decided that I wanted the WHOLE thing black.. so I needed the CF. I havn't been able to do my interior because I don't have the CF wood replacement.

So you HAVE to remove the dash which I guess really isn't that hard.. but it is a PITA!

I thought you could remove the wood paneling on the dash by just going through the glove compartment. There's was a thread posted about a year ago on this procedure. I have it saved on my hard drive at home if someones needs it.

That is correct for the 92 to 94 Sc's. I haven't tried to take off the wood trim on my 95 yet but I don't imagine it's much different. It is a time consuming job though.

I am so excited about this thread!! I do have a few q's though. First, is the center concole kit, dash kit, and wood grain replacement, a replacement or a stick on top deal? I am hoping to keep my car as clean as possible, so of course this would make a difference. Second, I wastalking to a body shop, and they are confident that they can take the wood grain out and paint match it to the color of my car. I think this might be cool as well, and it is available now. What do you guys think?
