what do you guys think for grey interior? i was thinking about keeping the classy look and replacing my brown wood for this new black burl wood color which can be found in the GS cars. A couple of members have replaced it with color. What you guys think?

If you can find a good quality kit, I'd say go for the black burlwood.
I'm not sure how hard it's going to be to find replacements for the factory wood that wraps around the dash.

I was thinking of trying a project exactly like this in about 3 months. I love the black wood look. If you can get it going, put me down. Good initiative JDM.
From what I saw when they took my wood trim off at the shop, you can remove the wood trim on the doors by removing the door panels first. Then they just unscrew. For the parts on the dash you need to remove the glove box first, then the wood pieces can be taken off by undoing the wing nuts on the back of the trim. You just need to feel around I guess. This was on a 92 I'm not sure if it's the same procedure on 93+ vehicles with the passenger side air bag. Sorry I can't give you any more detail. Just telling you what I saw.

I was actually planning getting a few spare pieces of old wood trim and stripping them down. Then trying some different dye's and stains. I found an ebony color on Minwaxs web site that looked pretty good.
I like the black wood idea more though.
