heavy blue smoke leading to a head job? or do you go ahead and perform the valve seals repairs?
till the engine loses compression? Or do you rebuild the engine?
till the tranny starts slipping? or do you rebuild that?
What is the price limit on the repairs for a 14-yr old SC with 324,000 miles before it's time to say "sayonara soarer"?
man...your right, im gonna sell mine now. j/k if i did i would be taking the bus everywhere.

Say what? You mean when it was new, right? Well, they don't make these anymore so....? And I also plan to keep it as a project car, but I will upgrade it if I get the chance.

Guess I need to update my sig. The Celica All Trac and Talon AWD Turbo have both been sold. They all have to go so I can buy a house. I only drive the Mirage anymore. That will sell too and I will buy a stock 4 door vehicle as a replacement.

your right d!... till the d*mn wheels fall off, engine goes up in flames, and the tranny drops out of the car and sits in the street 1 mile away from me. ..all in that order. the next order of business would be to look for another sc!(preferably 99-00)

I always have much, much respect for original owners... That is true dedication!

I will keep mine until she dies, or until I pass her down for another SCx00.

"Some people are like slinkies; they don't really serve a purpose, but you can't help but smile when you see them tumble down a flight of stairs." - Truely a unique qoute. Nice, lex400sc.

I'll replace my Soarer when the chassis starts to disintergrate Hopefully in a few years I'll be picking up a nice 98~00 GS300 (they don't sell the 400/430 here in Australia) and convert my Soarer to manual for all out fun

I love my SC more with each day that passes and feel like i could never give it up. I already
think of these cars as true classics. Since mine is a '93 with 183+K, I know that in about 4-5
years I'll be thinking of a new car but I'll probably keep the SC as a 2nd car. The way its going
now, this things going to run forever!
