heavy blue smoke leading to a head job? or do you go ahead and perform the valve seals repairs?
till the engine loses compression? Or do you rebuild the engine?
till the tranny starts slipping? or do you rebuild that?
What is the price limit on the repairs for a 14-yr old SC with 324,000 miles before it's time to say "sayonara soarer"?

Basically, until the wheels fall off..its paid for and i truly believe that every guy should have at least one project vehicle that he loves working on

If I were you, I would sell the talon, mirage and celica long before that SC turbo... keep the one car you have that's a monster.

I will keep mine until she dies, or until I pass her down for another SCx00.

"Some people are like slinkies; they don't really serve a purpose, but you can't help but smile when you see them tumble down a flight of stairs." - Truely a unique qoute. Nice, lex400sc.

I'll replace my Soarer when the chassis starts to disintergrate
Hopefully in a few years I'll be picking up a nice 98~00 GS300 (they don't sell the 400/430 here in Australia) and convert my Soarer to manual for all out fun

I love my SC more with each day that passes and feel like i could never give it up. I already
think of these cars as true classics. Since mine is a '93 with 183+K, I know that in about 4-5
years I'll be thinking of a new car but I'll probably keep the SC as a 2nd car. The way its going
now, this things going to run forever!
