does anyone know if it is possible to still get a vertex kit for the sc? i was looking into getting a kit a couple of months ago and actually got involved in buying a vis (vertex knock-off) instead but the guy never came through. since my family has agreed to keep our sc for the long haul we're going all out, and that results in the vertex over the vis. if anyone has any info or group buys or connections or whatever that'd be great. thanks everyone.

contact Chris @ speed alliance... They are the ONLY US Distributor for T&E Vertex in the United States. They will have a booth at D1 next weekend as well... If you go, come check it out... You will get to see the Vertex Soarer on display as well as the Junction Produce GS400

I owned a VIS piece of garbage. It's not good for the money. After shelling out a ton of cash to have to VIS installed and looking good it will cost you the same price if you bought the real one(and don't say that it's the same thing; it's made cheaper, from a cheap company, from people that can care less about their product). VIS is a horrible company and you don't want anything at all to do with them.

Everyone has their opinions... And some are justified by a crappy experience.
I'll get the pics scanned in to show you the process it takes to fit up this kit and how it turns out. The sideskirts definitely get the most modifications.
No matter how nice the kit you get may be, a crap shop can still turn out crap work. I don't think much of VIS myself, but the majority of the material and good design work from the original is carried over to the knockoff. It's all a bunch of fiberglass layers molded up when you get down to it.
The hardest part is finding a place that can do the body work correctly... and if you don't have a place like that available you will definitely ned to buy the best fitting kit possible, so I'd say go w/ the real deal original in that case.
