Leatherseats.com kit just arrived...WOW!!!
All,
I came home this afternoon, only to find a box sitting under the roof of my front door entranceway (Thank God it was safe from the torrential rains!), from UPS. I can't believe UPS would leave a box with almost $1,000 worth of gorgeous, buttery soft, brand new leather seats kit just sitting at my door. He did attempt to cover it with my green welcome mat (I wonder how that mat managed to make the box invisible?). I guess it is good for me that I live in a small, gated community, a great neighborhood full of upstanding citizens.
Anyway, at first inspection, I have to say that the Leather kit is excellent in quality and appearance. I chose the Sandstone color, and the perfed center inserts. I bought the premium kit with the door inserts and the installation kit. I will be installing the kit myself. I will let you know how it goes. Anybody have or see a "how to" pictorial on this process?
BTW, I had already been in long negotiation with Leatherseats.com for sometime when the CL GB came out, so I was unable to take advantage of the GB.
But, I still got a great deal, and am happy to have them in, as I now can finally install my stereo, soundproofing, and leather over the same weekend.
