That car really isnt that bad. When I saw this post I was hoping for a truly abused car, like "lextasee" or that wierd one for 40k that has the funky rear end and racing stripes down the side.... oh well...

You know though for the stupid LOW resale value these cars have it wouldn't be worth sinking alot of money in UNLESS you just felt bad for it...

For instance I have the black on black 5 speed (95 with 97 up conv.) and had a guy offer me $7k for it the other day and act like he was doing me a favor..

Theres no reason to think of fram as a completely low end product... They make filters for nasa and other very important organizations in the U.S., no tto mention their oil filters, though the low end ones suck, the X2 series seems to be excellent. Its a $9 filter, and my oil basically looks like its new for 2,000 miles, then by the time I change it, its very very light brown at the worst.

I agree with the negatives of running it on low octane gas and using crappy oil... plenty of bads coming out of that.
