Outside temperature guage question
Mine reads -22 degrees. Is there a way to fix this? I've searched around and found that there is a sensor in the front grill? Where exactly is this located and what does it look like? Also, will an incorrect outside temperature reading affect the interior climate control system?
Thanks

I believe its attracted to the inner front part of the front bumper..Its this black tube about 3 inches long that says Denso on it..You should buy a new one if yours is messed up...I don't think its that expensive..

Ok- was just wondering because the hvac temp set at like 69 is pretty hot in my car, and it has to be on max cold for the a/c in the summer, and from what i've read that's not common.

95BlackSC,
The outside temp. sensor does affect the hvac system. I know because the plug that connects to the sensor on my car is broken and occasionally it looses the connection, the temp display shows -22 and the car get very hot inside.

Yes, you definitely need a properly functioning temp sensor to get the AC to work correctly. I've found that with an inop sensor, the AC tends to be all on, or all off, not a lot of control over intermediate temperatures. I'd check the voltage output from the sensor, and the wiring, and if not correct, get a new one, that should solve your problems.
