Default dubs????

About to buy a '97 SC300 blk/blk and hesitating, it has 63000 miles on it. i wanted to know if you could fit 20" wheels on it. If so i probably would buy it definitly. Only thing i am worried about is does everybody have one of these, i got rid of my 1999 M3 for the same reason. every **** has one in california. something a lil different. i am a big car fan, is there a lot of things available for this car? if so what brands, body kits, exhaust, intakes, suspension, cams, pulley kits, etc. if so rough price. Thanks guys

I don't know about Ca but in so Fl, there are not many people riding around in sc's, especially nice ones. Plenty of all the other lexus cars though. You can put 20's on the car but most of us sc drivers stick with 19's. Check www.intellexual.net for information on kits and accessories. Hope you join the group, this is a great website and the guys are cool.

What part of Cali are you from? There aren't that many SCs on the road at all here. There are even fewer hooked up SCs. Don't get me wrong, they are out there, you just don't see them everywhere you go. Pretty much only at the meets.

I'd say they maintain a presence here on the wesside of Los Angeles. I don't even wave at other SC drivers, because I know most are not even noticing me. Almost half of the drivers are women. I'm also noticing more SC's that are not kept up- I guess they will eventually drop out of the pool.

It would be interesting to find out how many SC's remain in California and where they are distributed, but I doubt if the Cal DMV could/would give out that sort of info.

there is no ecu upgrade, dont 'upgrade' the pullies because you'll destroy your motor really easily

and dont put 20s on a SC300; it looks ghettofied... stick with a nice set of 19s and if you really wanna 'bling' i guess is the word, then get a nice set of HREs... nothing like a set of 19x9f, 19x10.5r with big meat-hooks all around, dropped suspension, and some nice tint...
