And I'm currently in San Antonio, Texas without my SC but it was 80 degrees today and going to 85 tomorrow! It was about 40 when I left Alexandria this afternoon. So my SC is keeping cooling and I'm basking. Sounds fair to me.

Hmmm, so far the noobs have this much in common: all looking for SC300 5-speeds, all looking to turbo SC300 5-speeds, all came from compact import coupes (Honda, Nissan, Toyota), and all live on the East Coast. If you guys start telling me you all have the same birthday, I'm gonna be scared!

New member here to. Never got into the honda scene but had several 300zx tt's, M3 and a 485whp supra mkIII. So far the SC is cool and getting ready to start the turbo process shooting for 600whp. Thank god I got that mustang phase out of the way early lol.

Yeah. A Mustang will definitely turn you off of the so called "American Muscle".

Well I'm not *looking* for an SC3 5spd, I have it already.

As far as everything else, yes it's true. My birthday's 9-19, BTW. LOL

Well .. I was looking for a 5 speed .. I bought a 5 speed .. flew from Atlanta to Orlando to get it (and drove 550 miles back in one day) and still have my Honda (2002 S2000).

But .. the Mustang GT Convertible is history !

Love Love LOVE the SC !

I am another one of those guys lurking for a LONG time without posting. I have a 97 SC400 and a GS300. Both of them just wheels, no other mods. I have run the gamut of cars, I have had 3 integra GSR's, a Honda Prelude VTEC, Nissan Maxima SE, and most recently a 5spd Infiniti I30. The infiniti was fastest of all, faster than the SC400 for sure. I definately need to do something for speed in the SC, it is though, an awesome car.

Oh, I am in Idaho, and Maxima.org was most recently my home.

Thumbs up welcome!

Ha ha, welcome to all the new SC'ers! I'm not exactly a noob but I did drive a 240sx previous to getting my SC, and true...the 240 and the SC aren't even close to being in the same class...

I've wanted this car for quite some time now. I've had a 1991 mk3ct26, 1995 6sp mk4ct12, and now a 1996 s14 SE. I'm in the process of buying a '96 SC3 5spd and selling the S14? Anyone?

Guess which wheels I'm putting on the SC!?

You should try a post in the marketplace but I don't think you'll find much interest on this board.

I just brought my SC400 last week, I have been looking for it for over a year now.

Anyway, I don't know much about the SCs, however I do have two 85 corolla gts (Ae86).

I find this board much better then other boards out there, you guys seems more polite.

Default New to the club

I purchased my SC fairly recently too.
It's a black 94 SC400 with a gray interior.
Thanks to this forum, I was able to find out about "lextech lighting" and sent them my instrument cluster.
They did a great job fixing it.
Apparently, I wasn't aware of this but my cluster has red needles which don't seem to take to the waterfall LED fix too well, but they still repaired my dead needle so it works like it's out of the factory.
I had the move the car while the cluster was out so the airbag light is on now. But again, thanks to this board, I think I'll be able to reset my light without having to take the car to the dealer!

yep.

I like the SC... It's a real comfortable ride.

Hey I'm a noob here and I'm almost the opposite of everything you put on there

Already have a SC and live in Cali. (But I guess the Toyota part is true)
