Default 97 body style

i have a 97 sc 300...i see a lot about people wanting the 97 and up body style? what is the difference......does my car look lower to the ground...just fill me in on some info

Speaking strictly for myself and people that I know personally, we want the 97+ body style because it just looks more updated and sportier. The door molding trim, the entire front bumper assembly, and the fogs make the 97+ look more agressive while still retaining that elegant luxury feel. It's somewhat similiar to putting a low-key "kit" on the car while still maintaining that non-offending factory look. I personally am not into the gaudy kits and aftermarket ground effects that other Lexus drivers like. I just want my car to look as new and fresh as I can without being too showy. Hope that helps...
