racing seat brackets...
does anyone know where i can find these for the sc? i know that when 6deep.com was still working, they sold them for 60 bucks a pop. now they are closed i guess. any other sites out there?

i have recaros. so its been comfirmed and true that the tt brackets fit the sc? or that the tt seats fit the sc? or both true? just making sure before i go out and buy something that costs that much.

haha...i have 2 recaros. go to http://www.on-trackperformance.com or options auto salon. they have pretty good deals.

Depends also on which Recaro you're using. If it's like SRD type or one of their fixed back types it makes a difference(bottom mount or side mount).
Wouldn't worry about your height too much if you're using regular aftermarket seat adapters to aftermarket rails, it will set the seat up pretty high anyway.
The tall guys may want to use custom brackets made to some low height sliders to keep the seat as low down as possible...

When I looked at it it seemed that must be the case.
I had the Recaro rep look and he didn't see how slidable rails could be as low as stock.
If you use fixed brackets like for real racing seats (non-reclinable) they might be able to go as low.
I heard that JDM TRD seats are as low as the Supra seats and also have rails for the supra, so they should work.
I'm a fat ***'ed haole with a 40" waist and I'm not fitting in any JDM seat. If I go after market it looks like I'll be going Corbeau extra wide. It all depends upon whether or not they can give me the head room I need.
