4. Contact and hold Tc to ground. The airbag light finally changed to rapid flickering and then went out.

Good luck
This worked for me. Just had to keep trying to get the timing right. I was pleasantly surprised when the light started flickering. Used the paper clips and ground wire to the door spring bolt. Just a b***h to get the diagnostic plug back in the hole!

Default Replace diagnostic plug

I couldn't get the plug back in. There are four screws holding the panel under the dash. Remove the panel, replace plug, and replace panel. Done.

Has anyone cleared a code 41 for the airbag? I read that most of you had code 22 and cleared it with no problems but us guys with the 41, seems like no one has a solution. I got my instrument back from Lextech and after the install I got the airbag light. Checked the code and sure enough its code 41

I checked Alldatapro online and it says that code 44 is center airbag malfuntion. Where do I check? I never had any problems with this before..

I have heard that the ABS computer nanny sometimes wants you to do a normal diagnostic code read, TC to E1, before it will allow you to do the wire dance erase. Also, be aware that the erase is hampered by low battery voltage.

Default 2004 GX470 airbag light clear

I pulled my cluster with the key on. Unfortunately, now I need to clear my airbag light. But I can't seem to figure which plug is TC or AB to put wire in to ground. Do I just use the plug under the dash used to read codes? How do I know which are TC and AB? Please help.

Default Resetting Air Bag Code 41

After installing a repaired cluster for my 92 SC400 the air bag warning light stayed lit and I got a code 41 and not a code 22.

I was able to reset it by following a similar tc-ab-tc-ab-tc sequence described in a DIY web page: "How to Turn-Off the Air Bag Light / Clearing Diagnostic Code 41 1990-1994 Lexus LS400". I managed to reset it in 2 tries.

Hope this helps those who get a code 41.

Default Air Bag Light Keeps Coming Back On

Hi folks,

I had this airbag light a while back when I rebuilt my cluster. I used the wire dance method to quickly clear it - thank you! But now the Air Bag light has come back on and this method doesn't clear it.

I do the wire dance and finish with TC connected to ground, then the ABS light blinks rapidly a few times and the Air Bag light goes out. Then it comes back on in three flashes, a pause, and one more flash. It will repeat this 3-1 sequence until I remove the ground wire from TC, at which point it comes back on solid.

Any ideas?
