Default Roll Cage questions

If anyone has any pics of a 6 point cage installed in their SC if you could please post them up. I know Clint was talking about getting one and don't know if you got one?

I know Ethan got one, but it was probably more then I need.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. If you know the diameters of the piping and stuff for legal NHRA.

My car is getting the 6pt cage put in it but I don't have any pics yet. I'd assume the NHRA manual has the tubing diameters listed?

I'll post pics of mine sometime soon -- you may have to remind me because I'm really scatterbrained.

I could duplicate my cage setup for you if you wanted, it would of course, cost you the cash...

my email is cory@417imports.com

Chromoly or SS? With chromoly you can go with smaller piping. Gotta be Tig welded of course.

Mine is mild. I powdercoated it black.

It does matter what size your cage piping is if you're planning to run at a sanctioned track.

Yup, the tech inspectors will go through the cage. And if you don't meet the requirements....Bye bye no race for you..........

fwiw, I'm doing a full black interior swap because the tan is getting to be janky jank after all these years of crawling in and out with my greasy body.

TurboSC if you get a cage get the door bars mounted to the door sills not the floor. The door sills are stronger and having the bar mounted there will make the car stiffer
