How what is the resistance of those resistors you got there on the breadboard? Some LEDs already have current limitting resistors. Just wondering, might save a couple dollars and time. Either way, it looks nice=)

 

looks nice...it would be really sweet to see them done with smaller LEDs spaced really close together, if that is even possible.

 

resistance varies by the way the board is built.

you can't use anything smaller than 5mm, it won't stand up to heat.

 

how are the caddy and benz tails done? i saw a SL500 today and you could barely see the individual LEDs in the brake lights.

 

the plastic faceplate of the tail is molded to refract light more towards the inside of the led's where blank space exists. I own a caddy. They are 5mm
