Default Have an ES I'm Thinking SC400?

Hay guys, I have an Es300 right now and every time i see like a 99 Sc400 I want one. I think its going to happen now, but before i make a move i would like to know anything i should look out for on the SC that only an SC owner would know about. Like any problems they are known for having (EX: The 92-96 ES300 get wind noise as the car gets older... things like that)

Only thing I can think of is the need to purchase more things for it (mod wise)

The previous-generation SC was a beautiful car....a HECK of a lot better looking, in my opinion, than the present Audi TT clone. Perhaps the only significant negative thing is that if you are used to a front-drive ES, the rear-drive SC, even with traction control and transmission snow mode, will not have quite the same winter or wet-road traction. If you can accept this and adjust your driving accordingly, and if you find a nice SC in good shape, then I don't think you'll have any problems.
Before you get a SC400, at least test-drive a SC300 if you can. It will be cheaper, get better mileage (though still not good by 6-cylinder standards) , cheaper to insure, and easier to work on. That in-line 6 is butter-smooth....just like a BMW in-line 6. But, I know....a lot of people just want the power, though, and if that is the case, than get the 400.

hoolcat i have a sc3 and the es3. the room in the back of the sc isn't as bad as other 2 doors. the car is a very fun car to drive and it's very comfortable. I like it more than the es3. Sc just looks so much better than a es, you can't even compare the two. es3 is a great family car though but if your like me (single) then def go for the sc.
