Wow, those pics speak a 1000 words. After seeing those & reading your posts, I'd agree that SC=Safe Car.

The cabin is amazingly enforced on the SC. In the worst case scenario accident the cabin will still be in VERY good condition. I think the SC is truly the pinnacle of Japanese engineering. Attention is visible in just about every aspect of this car

Yeah, I would but I have hundreds of pics of wrecked SCs, the task of uploading them all to that site is too daunting. Here's one of my favorites.... looks like the motor imploded and took everything with it

I dont think the gas tank is a big hazard. I believe it is a self-sealing (rubber interior coated) variety, and is also located higher up and about 4 feet from the rear of the car, It would seriously take one heck of a hit to rupture that.
