this is a really dumb question but here it goes.... won't the lights melt if you pop them in the oven at 175 degrees?

i was scared about that, but i took the risk, we popped it in the oven 7 times for 10 minutes each time at 200 degrees, the glue kept cooling down and made life difficult.....but we eventually took it apart and conquered the glue, we used silicon seal to put the lights back together..

Great Job on the tail lights. But why didnt you just try clearing out the 92-94 tails?

Would you like to sell you stock tails if you have no use for them?

thanks, well, i don't think anyone has ever tried clearing them out and since i don't kno how to, i didn't want to risk messing up my lights.....i kno takakaira.com sells them cleared already, i don't want to pay 800 for them....the 95 lights were easy because there are tutorials on how to clear them out.....i plan to keep my lights just in case something goes wrong with the 95 lights.....and maybe in the summer, i'll experiment with them to see if it's possible to clear them.

Noted.

Could you point me in the direction of the tutorial that you speak of? I might feel adventurous this weekend and experiment with my 92-94s. Thanks.

on the 92-94's it looks like the whole lens is colored, so i dont think it's possible to clear it

lookin good! did you make a clear insert to put on the bottom as well?

The 92-94's are not clearable because like boostshakalaka says, the lens is orange, not an orange insert. I already tore up my 92-94 lights to find that out =T
