Default Lip Restoration

Is there any way to restore a cracked lip ?? Mine looks like crap but I don't want to replace it alltogether because when I go replacing stuff I want to go the Bomex route.

Speaking from experience, I cracked a poly lip that I had on my MR2. We first made the crack wider so we would be able to fill it with fiberglass. We just used a couple of sheets of fiberglass on the back of it and used a little of the green fiberglass mix and bondo to fill the crack. Then sand and paint. It wont be flexible like the stock poly, but it will surely fix that crack and will be just as strong.

Im sure there is a poly repair kit out there, but I dont have any personal experience with that.

Default SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do a search for "PerryinLA" regarding lip repair. He admits his method is "cosmetically challenged" but his repair technique prevents the crack from worsening. If you're looking for a way to make the lip look like brand new then don't bother with the search because you can't, just buy a new lip.
